How could this event not have been a memorable one, born in Fairfield CT, grew up in Bridgeport CT, son of a great musician and songwriter, a high school principal (mine)! Of course, full house, more men than women, but a good cross section of fans. His interaction with the "home" crowd was a plus, hitting all the right notes. Great selection of his new and old music. Opening act (Phil Phillips) was good enough to headline and hit the highs for the young fans, complimented by his super guitar artistry. Great side men. The only downside for me were the two teenagers that stood for the entirety of both shows, blocking my view of the stage. I understand the youngsters need to dance, and you can't really be the grouch that makes them sit, but without the big screens, I wouldn't have seen much of Periphery. Need to have a "no standing zones" for us old folks!
